In “KAMAZinstrumentspetsmash” the results of the work on “Lean Production” in the first quarter of 2007 were summarized.

Since the beginning of the year 58 “kaizen-projects” were launched into realization, 30 of them were implemented. The saving rate amounted 5 million 349 thousand rubles. The staff of the optional equipment department, the main power engineering production and the logistical support department worked very effectively in the sphere of optimization of costs, improvement of production processes and organization of working places.
