Inprom ’s Branch Increases Sales in Southern Russia
OREANDA-NEWS. April 27, 2007. The Inprom branch in Krasnodar, the administrative center of the Krasnodar Territory, where the Black Sea resort of Sochi is bidding to host the 2014 Winter Olympics, has reported that its sales of steel products under contracts with the Russian Transportation Ministry reached 42.5 million rubles (about $1.7 million).
The subsidiary ’s bid has won in a tender for contracts under a program, run by the ministry ’s office in Sochi, for the modernization of road infrastructure along Russia ’s Black Sea coast, including the construction of a section of the Dzubga-Sochi highway with three tunnels and six bridges, and a section of a highway, which connects the city of Adler, near Sochi, with Krasnaya Polyana, a mountaineering resort, a venue of Alpine skiing.
