The Report of M. Sutyaginsky on the Chemical Summit Engendered Interest of Forum Participants both to the Project "Bioplex" Itself and to the Development of the Omsk Region Economy as a Whole
OREANDA-NEWS. April 26, 2007. Top-managers of the Group of Companies "Titan" with its Director General Mikhail Sutyaginsky took part in the IV International Chemical Summit in Moscow - the largest branch forum for leaders of chemical and petrochemical industry of Russia, of CoIS-countries (Commonwealth of Independent States) and of Baltic states, reported the press-centre of Titan.
The opening of the summit took place on the 12th April in the "President-hotel" of Moscow. About 200 delegates of the highest levels - Russian politicians, prime-ministers of republics, forming the Russian Federation, first persons of companies, which are market leaders, presidents of business associations, members of the Russian Academy for Science, the managers of chemical complexes in the CoIS-countries - all took part in the work of the forum.
As a guest of this summit was the President CEFIC (European Chemical Industry Council) Alain Perroy.
Mikhail Sutyaginsky performed twice. He informed the representatives of Executive and Legislative powers about regional investment policy in Omsk Region, about participation of government in developing of new technologies and "green" chemistry. Later on the special-purpose session he had to read more detailed report, where the main attention was paid to the specific development of bioclusters in Russia.
Nowadays, as participants of the IV Chemical Summit in Moscow believe, the problems of bioenergetics development and of alternative energy sources application are becoming more and more actual. That's why it is natural, that the pushing projects of the Group of Companies "Titan" got such wide response both in Russia and in the CoIS-countries.
