OREANDA-NEWS. April 26, 2007. Traditional tournament of "Little peoples of Siberia" for judo took place in the north town Tara (Omsk Region) on the 24-25th March and was devoted to memory of honorary freeman of Tara - V.D. Artoemov, reported the press-centre of  Titan.

It was the 10th anniversary regional tournament, gathering 16 commands from Novosibirsk, Bratsk, Ishim, Rubzovsk and from almost all the Omsk clubs for judo and for unarmed self-defense - about 100 strongest wrestlers of Siberia in age from 12 to 14.

Despite such young age of participants, competitions was as interesting as the tournaments of higher levels. As example can be mentioned the very interesting fight in the weight group below 42 kg. On the carpet came together two brothers-twins Alexander and Eugene Iltchenko from Bratsk. Alexander was a winner. Rustam Ibragimov and Zhusul Ramazanov from the Omsk club "Dinamo" (weight group below 50 and 66 kg respectively) needed less than a minute to beat their rivals. The difficult fighting was also in the weight group below 35 kg, where won Alexander Pleshakov from Bratsk.

In general, it is to note, that the hosts of the tournament showed as usually the highest results in this competition. In the weight groups below 29 and 50 kg the sportsmen of Omsk clubs won in all the nominations.

The Group of Companies "Titan" congratulates the winners and prize-men of the competition and wishes to all young sportsmen new heights and achievements.
