OREANDA-NEWS. The announcement was made today at a meeting of the RUIE Board. Vladimir Yakunin, who is a member of the Board, will now take on more duties dealing for the most part with economic questions and the development of Russia’s transport infrastructure. Yakunin said his election was “quite natural because Russian Railways is not only the biggest player on the transport services market, but the biggest employer in Russia.”
