IC ROSNO Insures Animals Owned by CJSC "Agrofirma "Doronichi"
OREANDA-NEWS. On April 18, 2007 ROSNO’s Kirov branch has insured the pig-breeding complex owned by CJSC "Agrofirma "Doronichi". The animals have been insured for 66,569,000 roubles. The contract will be valid for 87 months, reported the press-centre of ROSNO. The agricultural firm "Doronichi" is a diversified farm located in the Kirov Region and included in the list of the most efficient large Russian enterprises engaged in milk, beef and pork production.
The insured pig-breeding complex owned by this agricultural firm counts over 25 thousand animals. The concluded contract contemplates insurance against risks of cattle loss (mortality) and forced extermination of the insured livestock as a result of: infectious diseases; fire; natural disasters; accidents; unlawful third-party acts; and stealage (theft, burglary and robbery). The "Accident" risk contemplates indemnification against damage caused by electrocution, explosion, sunstroke or heatstroke, suffocation (asphyxiation), attack by wild animals, frostbite (supercooling, including the same caused by rain showers and intensive snowfalls), poisoning by toxic herbs or substances, snakebite or sting by venomous insect, as well as drowning, collision with transport vehicle, gorge fall, or death from other injuries.
