OREANDA-NEWS. April 24, 2007. After putting into operation the new off-gas system, the figures of industrial wastes will correspond to all European requirements of ecological control security. The Shareholders, Board Directors of "VMZKO" realize their responsibility towards the inhabitants of the city. Development of ecology control system is one of the reasons for investing program in "Red October". The Shareholders invested more than 10 mln. dollars in realization of ecological program.
Starting from May, 3 the furnace No.6 will be stopped for 10 days. During this period reconstruction of gas tubes will be finished, in charging aisle of the shop waste-heat flues will be installed. In particular it is planned to reduce in height the fixed bonnet to put it in the structure of climbing crane mechanisms above the furnace No. 6. It is planned to prepare and put movable bonnet of the furnace, new beams, new scrap baskets up to May, 8. 
Now the mechanism of vibrational shaking off the dust sinking fraction from pipe filter is set up to avoid its locking while intensive usage. Now the second block of hose filter is installed and frames are prepared for a new pipe line, new support for pressure relief pipe is prepared. The main gas-off pipe for treated fumes is cut in the system. The system of fume exhauster is already run in, now all units of system are tested.
Up to July 2006 in ESMS No.2 it is planned to commission second part of new gas-off system.
