JSC "Bank TuranAlem" Supported the First Vienna Ball in Hall of Ceremonies
OREANDA-NEWS. On April 14, 2007 the first Vienna Ball took place in Hall of Ceremonies, Almaty. JSC "Bank TuranAlem" was the general sponsor of the Ball. The co-chairmen of the Ball’s Honored Committee were the Governor of Almaty Imangali Tasmagambetov and the Burgomaster of Vienna Mikhael Hoepple. The Chief Dance Master of the Ball, Vice-President of World Dancing Federation Stanislav Popov opened the honored event pronouncing ""Alles Walzer" - "All are waltzing!".
The big hall of the Reception Hall was decorated in Vienna style with lots of fresh flowers. At eight in the evening the hall hosted more than five hundred guests of the Ball - politicians and diplomats, outstanding cultural and scientific workers, businessmen of Kazakhstan, Austria, Russia and other countries. All of them enjoyed pleasant music and dances and got into new business contacts. Still the main event of the Vienna ball as well as 100 years ago became entrance of 48 pairs of the debut dancers – young ladies in white dresses and their cavaliers in black evening suits accompanied by Strausse’s waltz and Karl Cirer's solemn music. Young people have rehearsed their first ball for two month with the best dance art trainers of Kazakhstan.
National artist of Russia Maxim Fedotov and national artist of Kazakhstan Tulepbergen Abdrashev conducted Symphonic Orchestra of the ball. The world star artists such as tenor Neil Shikoff, the soloist of the Vienna State Opera Daniel Fally, popular jazz-band "PRO jazz" under direction of Jacob Khan, Austrian entertainer RIK and sopranor Ludmilla Zelenka. The first Vienna Ball was conducted by music critic, showman and member of the Russian Television Academy Svyatoslav Balze and charming Kazakh anchor Bayan Yesentaeva. Following the tradition of the Vienna Ball at ten in the evening cook parade started under guidance of the Ball Chief Gotfried Gangsterer. He and his assistants from Austria cooked dishes from emperor’s cookery of France-Joseph times.
"Undoubtedly, Vienna Opera Ball is a new chapter in a cultural life of Kazakhstan: the attempt to join the epoch of Europe imperial courts and modern Kazakhstan’s cosmopolity", said Mukhtar Ablyazov, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC "Bank Turanalem" at the festival of classical music and dances. "We are sure that such events will strengthen Almaty’s status as one of new and rapidly developing cultural places and attract businessmen’s and politicians’ attention to our glorious city of art masters", concluded Mukhtar Kabulovich.
The classics festival ended far after midnight, young debut dancers continued dancing foxtrot, tango, cha-cha-cha and rumba and the organizers noted that Almaty Vienna Ball will become the brightest and annual event of cultural and social life in Kazakhstan.
