OREANDA-NEWS. As of today Russian Post has received 177, 000 migration notices, 57, 000 and 95, 500 of them in February and in March respectively. The figures prove that the service on receiving migration notices in post offices is available and popular among the customers, reported the press-centre of Russian Post. The post offices leaders received the majority of migration notices are ones in Moscow granted the service for 43, 000 customers since the beginning of January. It followed by ones in Moscow region, Saint-Petersburg and Leningrad region, Khanty-Mansyisk Autonomous Area, Sverdlovsk region and Krasnoyarsk territory.


Growth of received notices is expected for the beginning of summer as the period accounts for the peak of labor migration. It should be noted that since January 2007 citizens came in Russia from foreign countries can notice the Federal Migration Service of the arrival by means of post. The service is provided in all post offices Russia-wide.
