OREANDA-NEWS. On April 17, 2007 IBS and Borlas Consulting Group announced their friendly merger and establishing of a new consolidated company. As a result of this merger, a structure with unique financial, human and technological resources will be set up with consolidated profit in FY 2006 estimated (by US GAAP) as USD 370 mln, with more than 2700 people of total staff (including more than 1500 certified consultants) and with total service share in the turnover of more than 50%, reported the press-centre of  IBS.
The basic aim of the deal is to establish a company which can provide customers with services of international standards, fulfill projects of any scale and degree of complexity with maximum effect for the customers' business. The resource integration will provide the unified team with absolute leadership in the market of business applications and management consulting (more than 20% of the market) and it'll be the largest company in the field of IT services in Russia and Eastern Europe.

Not less important goals of the merger are increasing of business efficacy due to decreasing of transaction costs (up to 10%) and increasing of stock costs by management processes optimization and enlargement of offered solutions range expecting access to IPO in 2008.

The new business structure is developing by exchanging of assets shares without payments. The merger implies a further work of all top managers including General Directors of IBS and Borlas in the unified team.

The new structure will cover all existing business directions of IBS including management consulting, business applications implementation, infrastructure integration, IT outsourcing (IBS DataFort) and replicated infrastructure solutions (IBS Platformix). As well as the whole Russian part of Borlas Consulting Group (excluding "Borlas Retail" and “Borlas Security Systems” companies) and branches of Borlas Consulting Group in Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Belarus.
