OREANDA-NEWS. April 11, 2007. The St. Petersburg meeting presided by Ms. V.I. Matvienko was focused on operation of the city’s medical insurers, reported the press-centre of  ROSNO.

In course of discussion of issues related to optimizing interaction of medical institutions and insurance companies, the St. Petersburg Governor Ms. V.I. Matvienko supported the initiative of IC Virilis+, subsidiary of ROSNO-MS, which proposed conducting an experiment in order to change the medical assistance system in St. Petersburg.
The General Manager of IC Virilis+, subsidiary of ROSNO-MS, Mr. S.E. Kuznetsov told of experience in protection of the insured clients’ rights in St.Petersburg and offered a program for improvement of medical aid payments in the city.

Ms. V.I. Matvienko also drew attention of all insurers to the need for further improvements in service quality, more comprehensive information for patients about their rights and strengthening feedback with them.

This meeting was attended by the following ROSNO-MS employees: First Deputy General Manager — Executive Director of ROSNO-MS Ms.L.D. Popovich, General Manager of ROSNO-MS subsidiary IC RusMed, Chairman of the St.Petersburg Insurers Association  K. M. Alkanovich, and the General Manager of IC Virilis+, subsidiary of ROSNO-MS, Mr. S.E. Kuznetsov.
