OREANDA-NEWS. April 18, 2007. Machine-building Design Bureau (“KB Mashinostroeniya”) JSC is one of the leading developers of naval weapons in Russia that joined Tactical Missiles Corporation under the presidential decree in 2004, reported the press-centre of “KB Mashinostroeniya”.
The enterprise has gained a vast experience in development of torpedo tubes of different types, automated systems of torpedo pre-launch preparation, torpedoes-missiles and missiles. Over 120 types of weapons have seen the light of day. Development of launchers for anti-ship, anti-submarine missiles systems (in particular, the Uran-E and the Bal-E) and ballistic attack systems has been an important direction of work.
At present, the majority of surface ships in the inventory of the Russian Navy are armed with weapon systems developed by the enterprise.
