OREANDA-NEWS. April 18, 2007.  The second meeting of the representatives of FSUE Russian Post and State Postal Bureau of People's Republic of China was held on 9-12 April in Vladivostok. It coincided with the events celebrated within the framework of the year of China in Russia.

In the course of the meeting Russian and Chinese colleagues discussed the questions of arranging electronic money order system, signing the contract concerned, border exchanging postal items on the route Vladiovstok-Sufenhe and perspectives of similar exchange system on the route Blagoveschensk-Heihe. Both sides worked out the measures on increase of exchange volume and optimization of tariff policy. The participants also gave their opinions on development of new joint projects.

The colleagues of both countries took part in the opening ceremony of the corporate-styled post office in Vladivostok and the exhibition of unique philately collections in the central post office in the capital of the Primorskiy territory. The citizens were particularly interested in the collection of stamps issued to the Olympiс Games which will be held in 2008 in Pekin, the capital of China.
