OREANDA-NEWS. Alexey Filippovsky who formerly led the Financial and Economic Department of SIBUR LLC has been appointed Acting Vice President for Economics and Finance. The candidacy of Alexey Filippovsky for the post of Vice President will be considered during the next meeting of the Board of Directors of SIBUR Holding JSC. New Vice President will manage operations of the Financial and Economic Division, the Accountancy and the Treasury of SIBUR LLC. Formerly the position of vice president for economics and finance was introduced to the corporate structure not long ago. Novelty is connected with the consolidation of management functions of the company’s financial division.

Backgroound: 
Alexey  Filippovskiy was born on December 28, 1972 in Yekaterinburg. In 1995 he graduated from the Ural State Technical University. After receiving high education he worked as accountant, senior accountant and financial manager at Four Media Company in the USA. From 1998 to 2000 he worked as auditor and then as financial director for the Russian-American Joint Venture "Mobile Telecom". In 2000 - 2002 he studied at the Higher Management School of the University of California in Los-Angeles (UCLA), where he was awarded the MBA degree in the specialty of finances and strategy.

In 2002-2004 he worked for the Moscow office of McKinsey & Co. holding the position of finance consultant. In October 2004 A.N. Filippovskiy was appointed Director of the Financial and Economic Department of AK Sibur JSC. Since October 2005 he was the head of the financial-economic service. Since December 30, 2005 he held the position of the Head of the Financial Economic Service of SIBUR Holding JSC.

In connection with the assignment of sole executive powers of SIBUR Holding JSC to SIBUR LLC was appointed Head of Financial and Economic Department on December 01, 2006.
