OREANDA-NEWS. Rostelecom (NYSE: ROS; RTS and MICEX: RTKM, RTKMP), Russia’s national long-distance telecommunications operator, today announced the decision of the Company’s Board of Directors to hold the Annual General Shareholders’ Meeting to discuss 2006 results.

The Board set the date for Rostelecom’s Annual General Shareholders’ Meeting (hereinafter – AGM) as June 16, 2007.

Shareholders of record at April 27, 2007 will be entitled to participate in the AGM and receive dividends.
