Russian Post Enters the Market of Postal Order Exchange with non CIS-Countries
OREANDA-NEWS. National postal operators in China and Russia prepare to sign the contract on postal order exchange. The process will be performed via the International Financial System of the Universal Postal Union. The afore-mentioned system was developed specially for electronic money order exchange between foreign postal administrations. The fact that the contract will be signed in the year of China in Russia is of particular significance for the country, reported the press-centre of Russian Post.
All post offices in China and Russia will render service on delivery and collection of money orders. In Russia the operations are made in Russian Ruble, in China in USA Dollar and Chinese Yuan respectively. Average delivery term of order is 2-3 days. It should be noted that signing the contract is another step towards development in the sphere of international money orders. China is the first non CIS-country which Russian Post is going to establish electronic order exchange with.
