DMZ Has Received New Machines from Germany and the Czech Republic
OREANDA-NEWS. The Demikhovsky Engineering Plant (DMZ) will complete the installation works of the cut-of-the-edge Czech and German machine tools in the second quarter of 2007. The Mark Arinstein Maschinery & Anlagen Gmbh (Mark Arinstein) company was the equipment general supplier, reported the press-centre of DMZ. The new equipment is being installed under the general technical retooling campaign being pursued by Transmashholding. The DMZ will make operational a total of 15 high-capacity new-generation machines.
The equipment is to be installed by the beginning of this May and prepared for exploitation in June, 2007. The new machines will lead to two-fold or three-fold increase in labour productivity, sufficiently reduce the cost value of parts and assemblies manufactured by the plant, provide for permanently high quality of the products and enable production of higher volumes of productionized items as well as introduction of new promising ones. The machine-shop 30 is already equipped with two new machines designed to produce complex ball and bell type parts. The multipurpose processing centre type machines are now undergoing assembly and start-up operations building 104. The wheel shop 14 is housing NILES ZE800gear-grinding machine adjustment works as well as those concerning area preparing for installing OFA 75 CNC gear-milling machine. The new gear machines will cut down the noise and increase reliability of the ready toothed couplings exploitation.
