April 11, 2007. “This excursion was really essential”, - was told by teacher of Russian language and literature who works in the Cadet boarding school, Olga Zhukova. – “The case is that two our students decided to take part in the contest of school essays which is conducted in honor of 65 anniversary of Sverdlovenergo Public Company. To make the works really interesting, they should visit the sites and see everything by themselves. And they’ve been given this opportunity”, reported the press-centre of Sverdlovenergo Public Company.
Students of Cadet school visited “Serov” substation which is the main delivery point to provide power supply for central part of Serov and electric energy transit to Serov-Bogoslovsk node. They showed great interest in commentary provided by executive controller of substation, Evgeny Lukinykh, who was a guide for this excursion; visited the control board of “Serov” substation. But most of all they were interested in operation of equipment of open distribution device 110 kW. To be more exact, they were interested in the work of transformers.
After excursion around “Serov” substation, students visited another site - switching substation 220 kW “Sosva”, which is meant for power supply of reconstruction objects “Metallurgical plant in the name of A.K. Serov” Public Company.
