OREANDA-NEWS. On April 09, 2007 IBS, the leader in the Russian market of consulting services and information technologies, completed developing an automated control system for applied economic research and research and development works (RDW) at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation, reported the press-centre of IBS.
The whole process of preparing and implemening RDW in the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation is rather long and labour-consuming in view of a great deal of applications for RDW. The main processes involved, such as collection of applications, their evaluation, systematization of results, and search for the relevant information must be automated for enhanced efficiency and improved implementation.
To improve coordination and support of RDW projects there was a need to simplify work with appropriate confidential information. The fact determined the necessity to deploy a system which optimizes input, processing, storage and publication of the necessary information.
Resolution of the whole range of the tasks required deployment of a special information system.
IBS won the open contest announced by the Ministry of Economic Development in February, 2006, and was contracted to implement this project. The following companies also took part in the contest: OOO Britor, OOO Vneshtorgexport, CNII for Informatics, Economics and Control Systems, ZAO Digital Design.
