Gazprom Approves Program to Develop Gas Fueling Network
OREANDA-NEWS. On April 09, 2007 Gazprom approved a Targeted Comprehensive Program for the development of Natural Gas Vehicles (NGVs) and Fueling Stations over 2007 to 2015 prepared under the task of the Gazprom Board of Directors, reported the press-centre of Gazprom.
The Program is aimed at developing the infrastructure of automated NGV fueling compressor stations and increasing a number of NGVs and agricultural equipment working on CNG.
The Program stipulates that 200 new NGV fuelling compressor stations will be commissioned during 2007-2015 and 90 mobile automated gas fueling stations in 47 Russian regions.
By 2015 the Program execution will stimulate doubling of Russian NGVs operated on CNG to create 1700 new working places and reduce emissions into the atmosphere by 1 mln tons.
