OREANDA-NEWS. April 06, 2007. The first phase of JSC “RZ OCM” technical reconstruction is in process. The main aim is to decrease production costs and improve quality of condenser tubes (OD up to the 35 mm) produced of copper-nickel and brass alloys, reported the press-centre of  JSC “RZ OCM”.

Advantages of modern European equipment for bright annealing, straightening and packaging allow us to produce condenser tubes in full accordance with requirements of EN 12451 and ASTM B111.

Modern technologies guarantee high surface cleanness (absence on the surface darkening and tarnishing), high uniformity of mechanical properties along the length and section of the tube, high requirements to the straightness (up to the 1 mm/m). Packaging in the shrinkable film in the hexahedron form with corrosion inhibitor allows to keep tube surface quality during long-distant transporting, including sea route.
New modernized section for condenser tube producing using the new technology will start production in the spring 2007.
