SITRONICS Announced the Deal with the Ukrainian State Statistics Committee
OREANDA-NEWS. On April 11, 2007 JSC SITRONICS (LSE:SITR), a leading provider of telecommunication solutions, including software, equipment and systems integration, IT solutions and microelectronic solutions in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States with a strong presence in Central and Eastern Europe and a growing presence in the Middle East and Africa announced that it has won the tender for Ukrainian State Statistics Committee. Project overall value is around 9 million USD, reported the press-centre of JSC SITRONICS.
Kvazar-Micro, a part of SITRONICS IT Solutions business division, has won a tender for supply and installation of integrated information and hardware system for Ukrainian State Statistics Committee. The tender was held in accordance with the procedure adopted by the World Bank.
The project objective is to develop IT-infrastructure which will integrate all regional and main offices of the State Statistics Committee on the Ukraine territory. Integrated information and hardware system installed by SITRONICS IT Solutions will ensure the unified IT-environment for the State Statistics Committee central office, 27 head offices in the country provinces and regions and 593 district offices. Servers, workstations and other equipment from the leading world supplier - Нewlett Packard (HP) will make the core of the system structure.
