OREANDA-NEWS. Ukraine raised oil production 4% year- on-year in the first quarter of 2007 to 838,2000 tonnes, the Ukrainian Fuel and Energy Ministry told Interfax.

Gas condensate production fell 8,2% to 296,100 tonnes.

Naftogaz Ukrayiny increased oil production 2,8% in the quarter to 748,600 tonnes, but reduced condensate production 8,3% to 274,000 tones.

Other producers boosted oil output 15,2% to 89,600 tones but reduced condensate output 7,5% to 22,100 tones.

Ukraine increased oil production 5,4% in 2006 to 3.324 million tonnes but reduced condensate production 1,1% to 1.191 million tones.
