OREANDA-NEWS. The Contract for supply of the local well casing equipment (OLKS) between TATNEFT-Regions Management Company Ltd. and a Saudi "Zamil" Group of companies was signed at the end of March, 2007. This document provides for supply of the equipment for two wells of the Saudi Aramco Company, which were selected as candidates for testing the technology of the local well casing equipment developed by OAO TATNEFT in the nearest future, reported the press-centre of OAO TATNEFT.

This contract has resulted from the joint work of TATNEFT-Regions Management Company Ltd. experts, the Service Company "Vnedrenie" and TatNIPIneft Research and Design Institute aimed at promoting the equipment and the local casing technology to the new markets of the foreign countries. As we informed earlier a demonstration local casing installation job was performed at one of OAO TATNEFT wells in April 2006 for the experts of Saudi Aramco and Petroleum Development Oman Companies. As a result of this visit the Local Well casing technology was recognized to be interesting for the conditions of the Saudu Arabia and Oman and recommended for performance of tests in the territory of these countries.
