Since April 2007 Social Security Beneficiaries in Russia Will Get «Russian Newspaper» Free of Charge
OREANDA-NEWS. Since 6th April 2007 Russian Post will deliver extra-volume of weekly newspaper "Russian newspaper "Nedelya" to social security beneficiaries. It is held within the framework of government program of information support for social security beneficiaries in Russia. The program is subsidized form the state budget, reported the press-centre of Russian Post. Within the period from 6 April till the end of 2007 3.2 million citizen of the Russian Federation will get weekly newspaper "Russian newspaper "Nedelya" on free basis. The group includes the participants of the Great Patriotic War, relatives of deceased in the Great Patriotic War, former non-adult prisoners of nazi concentration camps, ghettos and other forced places of residence, invalids of Chernobyl catastrophe, veterans of military operations and other social categories.
The decision was adopted by the Government of the Russian Federation. It aims at informing social security beneficiaries, one of the least socially protected strata of the country of the most eminent events held in the country.
