On April 04, 2007 IBS company, leader in the Russian IT and consulting market, has completed the creation of external informational portal for the largest gas-transport enterprise in the world - "Tumentransgas Ltd.", reported the press-centre of IBS company. The new resource was created for increase of effectiveness of external and internal communications, forming of positive image of "Tumentransgas" company. "Tumentransgas" runs over 26 thousand km of gas pipelines, it has 48 branches and a great number of structural divisions. The eternal portal is going to unify and centralize the information, separated before, and allow access to it for employees, partners, inhabitants of the regions, where the company operates, and all the persons concerned.


Efficient providing of the information about the company, trends and indexes of the activity, undertakings and projects, social policy, key figures is one of the main tasks of the portal. Separate section is dedicated to procurement activity and tenders. The portal is introducing some interactive functions for the users, in particular, resumes collection, communication with the governance etc. "Introduction of the unified informational resource is important not only for communication with external auditors, such as partners and mass media, but also is going to help developing the communications inside the company. The project has started in September, 2006. Within the framework of the project the specialists of IBS have done the whole bunch of jobs: from the creation of the concept to the preparation of the documentation for the users and staff training. The technological foundation of the portal is the platform for management of corporative web content Saitistika from Individ company. The system of database management is based on the platform of Microsoft SQL Server 2000. "The problem solving with Saitistika was chosen as the most corresponding to the tasks of the project on the basis of comparison of functional and technical features of several systems of informational content management of the portal. It simplifies the control and administration of the portal content, gives opportunities for access management and easily scales", Alexei Sevastianov, deputy director of the department of integration decisions, marks.
