OREANDA-NEWS. On March 30, in the course of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov’s working visit to Kazakhstan Vnesheconombank and the Kazakhstan Development Bank signed a Memorandum of Mutual Understanding.

The Memorandum aims to expand cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan in developing the timber processing industry.

Under the Memorandum the two sides are determined to explore the possibility of financing Inter Forest Company’s (Kazakhstan) project to purchase and modernize the Maklakov Timber Processing Sawmill (Russia).
