OREANDA-NEWS. According to the 2007 investment programme, Logging and Timber Rafting Department (Siberia group of logging companies of Ilim Pulp) was provided with an up-to-date tree-length John Deere harvester complex that costs $1 million.

The logging aggregate includes three machines: a log loader, a skidder and a tree feller. The new modern tree-length harvester complex will boost logging significantly while lowering production costs.

As many as 15 up-to-date John Deere loggers are currently working on Logging and Timber Rafting Department forest allotments.
