OREANDA-NEWS. The General director of JSC “Aeroflot – Russian Airlines” Valeriy Okulov and the Chairman of board of directors JSC “Joint Aircraft Building Corporation” Alexei Fedorov signed a protocol of intentions in relation to financial lease of six new wide-body cargo aircrafts IL-96-400T.

According to the agreement between the parties, within a month after signing this protocol, a contract draft for leasing of six aircrafts IL-96-400T will be signed between JSC “Ilyushin Finance Co.” and CSC “Aeroflot Cargo”.

The aircrafts supply is planned to be fulfilled within three years (2008 – two aircrafts, 2009 – one aircraft, 2010 – three aircrafts). The leasing term is 15 years. The proprietary right for aircrafts will be transferred to the lessee after the termination of the leasing term and completion of reciprocal payments. During the whole leasing term, the lessee reserves the right for advanced redemption of aircrafts.
