OREANDA-NEWS. On March 27-28, 2007 the Information Technologies Center of Sosnovy Bor and the Municipal Institution of Supplementary Education for Children received school-leavers of St. Petersburg, Vyborg, Sestroretsk, Priozersk, Petrodvorets, Tikhvino, Novogorod, Ufa and Nizhniy Novgorod, reported the press-centre of  Leningrad NPP. The children took part in a TV conference "Training Firm: A Stage in Career Building," the presentation of training firms, their products and services and in distance deals. The seminar was part of the program "Professional Education and Training Reforms in North-Western Region." It was organized under the aegis of the European Training Foundation. The Russian coordinators of the program are the committees on education and youth policy of the St. Petersburg Administration, the Department of Pre-university Education of the Economics and Finance University. The key goal of the seminar is professional orientation and training of youths for further professional activities. The children were presented with awards and souvenirs with LNPP logo. The Information and PR Center of LNPP organized excursions to the plant’s 1st unit and training center. The LNPP specialists told the guests about the plant and its role in the economy of North-Western region and answered their questions.
