At the Gazprom Headquarters, Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee met with Richard Paterson, Managing Director, Global Energy, Utilities & Mining Practice, PricewaterhouseCoopers. The parties discussed the progress with the cooperation between Gazprom and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Particularly, the parties examined issues relevant to auditing Gazprom’s financial statements in 2006.

Currently, the services of PricewaterhouseCoopers Audit rendered to Gazprom are as follows:
• auditing annual accounting statements of Gazprom (parent company) pursuant to the requirements of the Russian legislation;
• auditing annual consolidated accounting statements of Gazprom Group filed in accordance with the requirements of the Russian legislation;
• auditing consolidated financial statements of Gazprom Group filed under the International Financial Reporting Standards.

PricewaterhouseCoopers Audit also serves as auditor for a range of large subsidiaries of Gazprom.
