OREANDA-NEWS. March 21, 2007. The capacity of the 2nd unit has been reduced to 500 MW. The unit is being prepared for planned repair. It will be stopped on Mar 22 at 2:00 AM, reported the press-centre of  Rosenergoatom.

As was reported earlier, the repair of the 2nd unit will last for 176 days till Sept 11.

The radiation background at the plant and in the nearby area is within norm.
