OREANDA-NEWS. The government of the Republic Buryatia and OJSC “Siberian Coal Energy Company" (SUEK) have prolonged the agreement on the social and economic cooperation, being in power since 2004.

This year SUEK will provide allocation of 15 million roubles to financing of social and economic projects in the Republic of Buryatia. As well as in the last year, these means basically will be directed on accomplishment of settlement Sagan-Nur where workers of Tunguiski Cut live. One third of this sum is planned to be spent on the needs of housing and communal services - repair of system of heat supply, restoration of roads, and purchase of equipment.

The volume of financial assistance of SUEK to the republic in 2006 has made 17,08 million roubles, including 2,08 million roubles in addition to the sum stipulated by the cooperation agreement.
