OREANDA-NEWS. From 13 till 15 of March there was hold a meeting on “Maintenance organization of power networks and intensification of safety arrangement and precautions” in Irbit, Sverdlovsk region. The meeting was attended by the heads of “Multiregion Distributive Network Public Company of Ural and Volga”, Sverdlovenergo Public Company and chief engineers of power networks as well as managers of regional power networks, reported the press-centre of  Sverdlovenergo Public Company. There were discussed questions of structural transformation and equipment repair of power networks by transfer to the outsourcing of these works with preservation of principal functions by the branches.


They took a decision to prepare and approve “Condition on organization of structural transformation and equipment repair (TOiR) in Sverdlovenergo Public Company and on interrelationship with contracting agencies”. This condition should define sphere of duties for OVB and ORB, principal functions, their distribution according to the levels of regional tidal power stations as well as duties of executive body and system of interrelations between Sverdlovenergo Public Company and contracting agencies. On panel discussion there were pointed out conditions necessary for successful transformation of the system TOiR: seniority of workers health and questions on safety arrangement and precautions and life conservancy of workers without regard to a way – be that contracting or noncontracted way – of their maintenance; consideration of the main features of an enterprise before transformation; impermissibility of qualified workers’ drain; real preparation to the performance of functions of the system TOiR. The following meeting is planned to be hold in Western power networks in 2008 where there should be a discussion on the results of structural transformations of maintenance system and equipment repair.
