OREANDA-NEWS. March 21, 2007 training sessions under the corporation specialists’ lead started at S.P. Korolev RSC Energia in accordance with the program of crew training for the sixteenth Expedition of the International Space Station (ISS-16), reported the press-centre of  S.P. Korolev Rocket and Space Corporation Energia. Cosmonauts Yuri Malenchenko and his backup Salizhan Sharipov (RGNII CTC) familiarized themselves with video- and photographic equipment to be used by them onboard the ISS Russian Segment. They were given training in operating software of computer-to-computer data exchange channel, Sigma computer program of ballistic-navigational situation. Besides, S. Sharipov was trained in pipeline sealing methods.
