At S.P. Korolev Rocket and Space Corporation Energia the Meeting of the General Designer’s Review Board Took Place
OREANDA-NEWS. On March 21, 2007 at S.P. Korolev Rocket and Space Corporation Energia the next meeting of the General Designer’s Review Board chaired by N.N. Sevastiyanov, the Corporation President, General Designer, took place, with the focus on the Russian Segment of the International Space Station (ISS), forthcoming launch of Soyuz TMA-10 space vehicle and completion of Soyuz TMA-9 flight, reported the press-centre of S.P. Korolev Rocket and Space Corporation Energia.
The following was heard according to the agenda:
Report on the status of Soyuz TMA-10 manned transport space vehicle launch processing (speaker: Yu.I. Grigoriev, RSC Energia Deputy General Designer, Director of Orbital Complex Programs);
Report on the Soyuz-FG launch vehicle flight readiness to launch the Soyuz TMA-10 space vehicle flight readiness to launch the Soyuz TMA-10 space vehicle (speakers: D.A. Baranov, GNP RKTs TsSKB - Progress Deputy General Director, Chief Designer; K.K. Popov, RSC Energia Deputy General Designer);
Report on the Launch Complex readiness for the launch of the integrated launch vehicle with the Soyuz TMA-10 space vehicle (speaker: E.I. Sokolov, KBOM Deputy General Designer, Deputy General Director);
Report on the results of ISS-14 Expedition flight, Mission Program for the forthcoming period, the readiness status of the ISS, LOCT and flight support systems for performance of next ISS-15 Expedition Program (speaker: V.A. Soloviev, RSC Energia Vice-President, Deputy General Designer);
Report on the Soyuz TMA-9 readiness for completion of the flight (speaker: Yu.I. Grigoriev, Deputy General Designer, RSC Energia Director of Orbital Complex Programs);

In the course of the Review Board meeting, co-reports and presentations of Chief Designers, responsible representatives of the agencies and enterprises involved in implementing the ISS Program, were heard. By the outcome of the reports and statements review, the Board of General Designer’s Review adopted the following resolution:
Approve the testing results and RSC Energia - proposed plan of forthcoming activities on processing Soyuz TMA-10 space vehicle for launch to the ISS on April 7, 2007, with ISS-15 Prime Crew consisting of the two persons (F. Yurchikhin, ISS-15 commander; O. Kotov, flight engineer) and VC-12 visiting crew (Ch. Simonyi, USA).
Based on the assessment of the actual status of the ISS Russian Segment, accept the ISS RS for the performance of next ISS-15 Expedition Program.
By the results of assessment of Soyuz TMA-9 space vehicle readiness for the mission completion, approve RSC Energia proposals for the return of ISS-14 and VC-12 crews by Soyuz TMA-9 space vehicle on April 20, 2007.
Approve RSC Energia proposals on the mission of next ISS-15 Prime Crew scheduled for 189 days from April 7, 2007 through October 13, 2007, with the cargo traffic to the station provided by Progress M-60 transport cargo vehicle in May 2007 and Progress M-61 in August 2007.
Approve RSC Energia proposals under research and experimental program during ISS-15 Expedition and VC-17 visiting crew flights.
Approve and implement the Organizational and Technical Controls Plan to Support Soyuz TMA-10 Launch and Complete Soyuz TMA-9 Flight.
