OREANDA-NEWS. OAO Mosenergo is launching a repair campaign to prepare heat and power equipment for the 2007-2008 fall-winter peak demand period.

Equipment will be removed for repairs in stages according to a schedule agreed with the System Operator. OAO Mosenergo will allocate 5 billion 238 million rubles for the repair campaign in 2007.

As part of the repair campaign, from March through October 2007, there are plans to repair 6 power-generating units, 21 power and 6 peak-load hot water boilers, 18 steam and 2 gas turbines, 28 generators, 24 transformers, 332 network pumps, and 15 110-500-kV switches.
