Work of the Republican power engineering specialists was highly appreciated in Tatarstan and in the country. In 2006 the consortium of Russian Directors and Rating Agency "Expert RA" JSC awarded "Tatenergo" with rating of credit solvency "А", and the rating of corporate management was increased to the level "В++", proving the low risks of corporate management. The grade given to energy holding of Tatarstan by international business community, is appreciation of purposefulness, efficiency and quality work by Republican power engineering specialists.Director of the holding stressed that in 2006 the JSC "Tatenergo" worked as the regular subject of the wholesale market of electricity. On January 24, 2006 in Republic was recorded the maximum of electricity consumption - 4 th. 065 MW, and total energy consumption on the day was 87 m. 886 th. KWh.

Came in effect the Rules of operation on the new wholesale market of electricity (NOREM) and the Rules of operation of retail electricity market. Volume of electricity production in 2006 was 24 bil. 860 m. KW.h and increased by 4,8% or by 1 billon. 130 m. KWh compared to 2005. Stable growth of generation was in the 3-4 quarters of 2006 because of the increased energy consumption in Republic (by 5,4 %) and supply of energy upon the wholesale market. Big growth of the net supply in 2006 was in the group of non-industrial consumers - 18,7%. In the group of industrial consumers up to 750 kVA the growth was 10,4%; in the group of industrial consumers 750 kVA and higher - by 5,5%. Volume of heat supply grew by 2,9% and was 31 m. 530 th. Gcal.

The passing year was marked by the big capital construction. Total amount of investments in the holding constituted over 5 billion rubles. Total amount of finds invested in the fixed assets in the holding in 2006, was 7 billion 277 mil. 400 th. rubles. For comparison in 2005 investments for capital construction were 4,2 billion rubles. "Technical policy for 3 years - is a minimal term that we have to observe in making the investment program of the Holdingа, - marked the basic principle of capital construction planning General Director of JSC "Tatenergo". - To date the situation is that the limits fro tariffs are approved for three years. The initial information for this are these investment programs. When the tariffs are approved and the feasibility study is done, the questions arise for excluding one objects and including the others. Such tactics has to be minimized - these situations may occur in exceptional satiations during changes in general strategy of technical policy and fuel supply.
