OREANDA-NEWS.On February 27, 2007 the pre-certification audit of magnesium products was carried-out at AVISMA. Inspection of a die-casting division was carried-out according to the requirements of ISO/IEC 62-2000.

Procedures and documents of quality management system and production itself were inspected. As a result of it, the commission admitted that the quality management system of AVISMA branch of psc “VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation” conformed to the requirements of ISO/TS 16949:2002 and was ready to certification. Galina Lukianchenko, the auditor of TUEV NORD CERT, noted excellent personnel qualification, great team spirit and management mindedness to automobile market penetration. The certification audit will have been conducted by the end of year 2007 according to the plans.
