OREANDA-NEWS. The regional operator Sibirtelecom, a subsidiary of the national holding, Svyazinvest, has announced that as of 1 March 2007, it had 3,302 million mobile subscribers, up 3% on the previous month. The gain of subscribers for a month has made 97,5 thousand subscribers.

Of the total, 3.282 million were GSM users, while 15,500 subscribers used CDMA technology.

The basic gain was provided by JSC “Baikalvestkom” in Irkutsk region - 3,2% (1 368 thousand subscribers as of 01.03.2007), JSC “Yeniseitelecom” in Krasnoyarsk region, Republic Khakassia - 2,7% (1 366,6 thousand subscribers).
