OREANDA-NEWS. A regular OAO TATNEFT Board of Directors meeting was held on February 27, 2007 dedicated to reviewing the results of executing the budget of OAO TATNEFT for January and approving the budget for March 2007.

The Board of Directors listened to and reviewed information about the progress in development of natural bitumen fields in the Republic of Tatarstan. OAO TATNEFT Board of Directors reviewed the terms of inviting a strategic partner for exploration, development, production and refining of bituminous oil.

The Board of Directors decided about the date and venue for holding a regular general OAO TATNEFT shareholders' meeting to discuss OAO TATNEFT activity results in 2006. The meeting will be held in the Almetyevsk Palace of Culture "Neft'che" at 10:00 a.m. Moscow time on June 29, 2007.
