OREANDA-NEWS. ACB published the results of 2006 on the system of insurance of deposits and the market of deposits of private individuals. In the beginning of 2007 the fund of deposit insurance exceeded 41 billion roubles.

In 2006, the management companies (eight management companies have received in management 1,6 billion roubles - about 5 % of the fund) have been attracted to management of means of the fund for the first time.

In 2006, especially in its second half, the active inflow of deposits of population to the bank system was observed. For a year they have increased by more than 1 trillion roubles. Actual rates of growth have made 38,2 %. At the same time, the growth of deposits of the population was observed at 85 % of the banks.

During the functioning of the system of insurance there were 10 insurance cases. The total sum of obligations of the Agency on payment of insurance compensation has made 37 million roubles.
