OREANDA-NEWS. The number of subscribers of broadband access to the Internet offered by OJSC “Sibirtelecom” under the trade mark Webstream has made 65 thousand. The gain of Webstream in 2006 has made over 54 thousand subscribers. For a year the company has increased share in the market of the Internet services from 47 up to 51 %.

The greatest demand in 2006, Webstream enjoyed in Novosibirsk (10,7 thousand subscribers) and Kemerovo (9,6 thousand subscribers) branches.

Incomes of the company of the Internet services and data transmission increased from 1,2 up to 1,9 billion roubles for 2006. The share of incomes of these services in the structure of incomes of the parent company has increased from 5 % up to 8 %.
