OREANDA-NEWS. Gazprombank, which enters the three of leading banks of the Russian Federation on size of assets, plans to carry out IPO in the middle of 2008, the press release of the bank goes.

According to Reuter, earlier the bank mentioned an opportunity of carrying out IPO in 2007.

In the middle of 2007 transformation of the bank into the open joint-stock company is planned.

On results of 2006, assets of the bank under RAS have increased by 66 % - up to 724,3 billion roubles, own means - more than doubled up to 89,4 billion roubles, the pre-tax profit practically did not change in comparison with 2005 and has made 18,7 billion roubles.

According to the deputy chief of financial and economic department Yury Malikov, the expected net profit of the group of Gazprombank under IFRS will develop from $850-900 million profit of the bank, three quarters from $700 million profit of petrochemical holding Sibur and $100 million profit of the media-group.
