OREANDA-NEWS. In 2006 SUEK mines produced 89.7 million tons and sold 85.7 million tons of coal. As compared to the previous year, the output and sales volume grew 6% and 7% respectively.

Domestic sales increased by 2% to 62 million tons, of which 43 million tons was sold to power utilities.

Export sales grew 26% to 23.7 million tons. The largest shipments were made to UK, Korea, Japan, Denmark, and Finland.
