OREANDA-NEWS. Novomoskovsky Azot (a subsidiary of OJSC “MCC EuroChem”) has launched two investment projects called upon to raise the product manufacture technology in workshop #2 at a qualitatively new level.

The first project is aimed at the substitution of physically worn ammonia installation equipment, and the second one is directed at the output increase and decrease of the energy consumption.

The realization of these projects will allow to increase the ammonia output up to 1,550 tons/day, to reduce the raw material consumption per ton of ammonia as follows: natural gas by 58 m3, steam by 0.09 Gcal, as well as to increase substantially the reliability of the installation performance and its operational security.

The planned costs concerning both projects are above 350 million roubles.
