OREANDA-NEWS. OAO "TGC-9" completed all legal and corporate procedures required to consolidate its assets and merge OAO "Komi Regional Generation Company" with and into TGC-9.

The first phase of TGC-9 reorganization took place in May 2006 through merger of OAO "Perm Generation Company" and OAO "Sverdlovsk Generation Company" with and into TGC-9.

Shares in OAO "Komi Regional Generation Company" were converted into shares in OAO "TGC-9", and its shareholders acquired shares in TGC-9. After the placement report on the additional share issue is registered with the FSFM of Russia, RAO "UES of Russia" will hold a 50.05 percent stake in OAO "TGC-9".

To date, the target structure has been achieved at all six thermal WGCs and five TGCs—TGC-3 (OAO "Mosenergo"), TGC-4, TGC-5, TGC-9 and TGC-14.
