OREANDA-NEWS. OAO "Ivanovo Generation Company" has successfully completed the spin-off of OAO "Ivanovskaya Generatsiya" which was simultaneously merged with and into OAO "Ivanovskie PGU".

The companies' reorganization plan was approved by the Board of Directors of RAO "UES of Russia" on 20 November 2006 in order to facilitate the construction of combined-cycle gas turbines at the Ivanovskaya TPP.

After the transfer of the property of the Ivanovskaya TPP to OAO "Ivanovskiye PGU", which is scheduled for March 2007, it is planned to consolidate OAO "TGC-6" into a unified operational company through merger of the generation companies in the Ivanovo Region, Vladimir Region, Nizhny Novgorod Region, Penza Region, and the Republic of Mordovia with and into OAO "TGC-6".
