OREANDA-NEWS. Aeroflot has obtained a certificate for use of a device preventing bringing of explosives (EX), explosive objects (EO), arms and munitions to aircrafts.

The device allows air sampling and keeps odors for a long time. After the sampling the material of a special filter is given to a tracker dog (bio-detector) reacting to presence of smells of EX and EO.

The device became a part of the System of remote air analysis (SRAA) to ensure flight safety. The SRAA system includes a mobile canine complex based on the “Gazel’” van, tracker dogs – bio-detectors transported in a special cage-shed, device accumulating gas components of explosives, equipment and odor analysis laboratory.
