OREANDA-NEWS. Bratsk Pulp and Containerboard Mill, a subsidiary of forest industry corporation Ilim Pulp, has completed an experiment on its waste disposal plants, launching an afterpurification scheme for the so-called conditionally clean flow that includes waste waters from practically all the mill’s facilities.

The experiment was underway for the bigger part of the year 2006. After analyzing the results, the environmentalists concluded that the final waste dumped into the river Vikhoreva is considerably better if it undergoes the afterpurification.
